Police have appealed for information after a disused caravan was set alight near the riverside in Inverness.

Officers investigating the incident, which occurred near the Inverness Skate Park on Bught Road on May 31, have urged witnesses and people with information to come forward.

A police spokesperson said: “Around 10.30pm on Friday, May 31, a disused caravan was set fire to and damage was caused to a small digger which was parked near to the Skate Park.

“If you witnessed the incident or have any information, we could encourage you to contact police at Burnett Road Police Station via 101 quoting “incident 4896 of May 31”.
