Two more Scottish stars are set to challenge for gold in their home country when WWE Clash At The Castle comes to Glasgow!

During last night’s edition of SmackDown, it was announced that Scotland’s own Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn will be one of three teams vying for the Women’s Tag Team Championship in Glasgow next weekend.

After successfully defeating Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell in a standard tag team match, the current champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were set upon by Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark as well as The Unholy Union.

Afterwards, Cargill announced during a backstage interview segment that they would get their revenge against both teams at WWE Clash At The Castle when they defend their titles in a Triple Threat tag team match.

Fyre and Dawn will undoubtedly have a home-field advantage as both made their names in Glasgow-based promotion Insane Championship Wrestling before joining WWE. This marks their third opportunity at the Women’s Tag Team titles following unsuccessful challenges against Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler as well as Kayden Carter & Katana Chance.

WWE Clash At The Castle will also see Piper Niven challenge WWE Women’s Champion Bayley and Drew McIntyre face off against the man who dethroned him as World Heavyweight Champion back at WrestleMania XL, Damian Priest.
