The Princess of Wales is getting ready for the festive season, today stepping out in a delightfully Christmassy red bow cape for her latest royal duties.

Kate – joined by her husband Prince William, as well as in-laws King Charles III and Queen Camilla – attended a special welcome ceremony for President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon Hee of South Korea, at London’s Horse Guards Parade.

For such a special occasion, the princess welcomed the upcoming festive season in a bright red cape dress by Catherine Walker, featuring a large red bow on its neckline. She added to her statement look, by wearing the same apple-red hue head-to-toe; Kate accessorised with suede Gianvito Rossi heels, a wide-brimmed Jane Taylor hat, and a Miu Miu clutch bag.

Beauty-wise, the Princess of Wales opted for an elegant chignon up-do, which worked perfectly with the shape of her hat. Instead of her usual subtle make-up look, Kate opted for a dark brown smoky eye and berry lip, perfect for this time of year.

William also got in the festive spirit, by matching his wife’s ensemble with a red tie as part of his smart navy trouser suit.
