Scotland fan starstruck after bumping into Ewan McGregor on way to Euros

Scottish superstar Ewan McGregor stunned a travelling Tartan Army supporter when they bumped into one another as he made his way to Cologne in Germany.

The Trainspotting and Star Wars actor also sent a good luck message to the national side while bumping into John Falkirk and his quirky vintage campervan, Elvis.

John shared an image of himself alongside McGrergor on social media saying that he bumped into the celebrity shortly after arriving in the host nation for Euro 2024 Championships, the Daily Record reports.

While route to the German city where Scotland will play their second Group A game, John and his van, Elvis, came across McGregor and his old motorcycle pal and actor Charley Boorman in Amsterdam, after they arrived off the Newcastle ferry on Saturday, June 8.

The pair – who filmed two-wheeled travel series Long Way Round, Long Way Down, and Long Way Up, together – were left impressed by the unique motorhome.
