Data from high-end fashion retails Karen Millen has found Princess Kate to be commanding more hashtags for her fashion on TikTok.
According to the figures, Princess Kate has an average of 381.4 million views under fashion hashtags on TikTok – compared to Meghan’s 58.4 million.
Most of these views for Princess Kate’s fashion edits can be found under the hashtag #katemiddletonstyle with videos bearing this hashtag featuring a total of 863.7 million views.
Meanwhile, Meghan’s hashtag #meghanmarklestyle only garnering 158.7 million views on videos about the American star’s fashion videos.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Express, Senior Brand Manager at Karen Millen Amy Preistly, said: “With some members of the Royal Family often being used for fashion inspiration, it’s no surprise that there’s been an increase in interest around Kate Middleton’s wardrobe with the new season of The Crown – and this interest is likely to continue to soar, with the young royal set to be portrayed onscreen by Meg Bellamy in part two this December.
“Kate has often been praised for pulling together simple and classy looks that emanate sophistication, so she’s a good role model for those looking to the royal family and other ‘celebs’ for wardrobe guidance.”
Moreover, Princess Kate is likely to see another spike in interest in her fashion when The Crown season six, part two hits screens next month.
Google searches into Kate Middleton have increased by 45 percent over the last week – a trend which is only likely to increase when the hit Netflix drama returns.
