Snoop Dogg pranked everyone

April Fools? Snoop Dogg hinted he was giving up weed last week when he announced that he’s “decided to give up smoke,” leading some fans and fellow music artists to join in (or claim they’re) quitting marijuana. But it turns out the blunt-loving rap icon was pranking everyone when he revealed Monday that he’s endorsing the Solo Stove firepit company. “Go smokeless with Snoop Dogg,” a collaboration ad says, featuring a $350 “Snoop Stove” product. “I’m givin’ up smoke,” Snoop says in a commercial. “I know what you’re thinkin’, ‘Snoop, smoke is kinda your whole thing!’ But I’m done with it. Done with the coughing and my clothes smelling all sticky icky. I’m going smokeless,” he adds as the camera reveals he’s sitting next to the smokeless firepit.

‘Blue Bloods’ ending

“Blue Bloods” is ending after 14 seasons, CBS announced Monday. The police drama, which stars Tom Selleck as New York Police Commissioner Frank Reagan, will end next fall with its final season split in two parts, beginning Feb. 16 (Fridays at 10 p.m.) and the second part beginning in September. “For the past 13 years it has been an honor and a privilege to work on a show that not only celebrates the men and women who protect and serve in New York City, but also displayed the importance of family,” Selleck said in a statement Monday, sending “heartfelt gratitude to the fans who gathered with us for dinner every Friday night.”

New Bourne movie

The Bourne Infinity? A new Jason Bourne movie is in the works with “All Quiet on the Western Front” director Edward Berger. SlashFilm reports the Oscar-winning filmmaker is in negotiations for the project, which is in early development and does not have a script or cast yet. So, will Matt Damon return? Deadline sources say “everything has to be executed perfectly for Damon to even consider coming back to the franchise and that starts with a great script and story and so as of right now no commitment from him until all of that is in place.”
