An Astrologer Finds Troubling Signs in Donald Trump’s Star Chart

While some are quick to dismiss astrology as hokum, there may be something to astrologer Betty McKeon’s findings in Donald Trump’s star chart. The Trump administration thus far has felt like Mercury being permanently stuck in retrograde, and it might be explained by the president’s astrological makeup. Below are excerpts from McKeon’s reading of Trump’s “blueprint.”

He was born on the full moon in June of 1946. This means his Sun sign is in Gemini, and the Moon sign in Sagittarius. The Sun describes his father, and the Moon his mother. This means his parents are at opposite ends of the astrological spectrum. Donald’s rising sign, or ascendant, is determined by birth time and is in Leo. This describes the way in which he begins anything and also the lens through which he sees himself.

Let’s begin with his Sun sign in the 10th-house position. This can give insight to what his father was like and how Donald himself expresses the masculine principle. Sun in Gemini indicates Trump senior would have been unique and more likely than not, had a very militant approach to life. The Moon in Sagittarius means Donald’s mother could have been a bit indulgent and less disciplined.

Leo, the lion, represents the childlike nature in us. People with Leo rising usually have a real thing about their hair. It equates to the lion’s mane. Does this sound familiar?

Donald Trump has a Sagittarius moon. Sagittarius is known as the salesman, the storyteller, and the exaggerator of the astrological world. Someone with strong Sag energy might tell you there were 100 people at a party they attended, when in reality, there were 25.

All signs have a light and dark expression. The light side of Sagittarius is funny and kind. The dark side can be indulgent and very judgmental. The tendency to brag or to place oneself as judge and jury can also be something we see with this sign. In its lower expression, Sagittarius cannot accept being wrong about anything; they are always right. Lastly, Sagittarius energy describes our ability to listen (or not, as the case may be).

With all the planets but one on the left side of the chart, it suggests he is very guarded and never thinks to reach out and ask for help. Nine out of ten planets placed in this position also suggest little or no consideration for what others may want. As an example, if you ask a question like, “Where would you like to go eat?” The answer would be definitive with only his needs and wants being considered.

A person who has this particular configuration frequently appears to need nothing from others. The results can be an extremely lonely existence.
