Published

on

We have expert betting tips for the card this Wednesday at Sandown that features eight quality betting races.

Punters get value odds in Victoria and we have our best horse racing tips.

Sandown horse racing tips & form

Race 1. (15:05) Ladbroke It Plate (1200m)

#1 – Beauty Rising @ $2.60

Beauty Rising didn’t fire at Sandown last time out but it was a tough field and that form stacks up well for maiden racing.

The two-year-old filly by Deep Field looked better when running second on debut at The Valley, so punters can use that as a form guide.

Barrier four with Jamie Kah riding helps.

Race 2. (15:40) Tile Importer Maiden (1300m)

#2 – Gusmao @ $4.50

Gusmao has been around the mark throughout his career, including five placings from eight starts.

The four-year-old son of Dissident comes off a second placing at Geelong and anything close to that form should be good enough.

He needs only luck from an outside barrier.

Race 3. (16:15) Evergreen Turf BM64 (1400m)

#1 – Red Sun Sensation @ $4.20

The Peter Moody-trained gelding raced against some tough opposition last preparation and he could hit the ground running.

He won at Geelong before running third behind Castillian at The Valley and second behind Mr Maestro at Flemington.

He might be wanting more ground than 1400m, but he’s the best horse in the race.

Race 4. (16:50) Ive Print BM78 (2100m)

#3 –Tycoon Bec @ $4.20

Tycoon Bec scored consecutive wins earlier this preparation, including a narrow win at Sandown.

The six-year-old mare is a five-time winner from 15 starts overall and getting 2kg off her back only helps her chances.

We’re happy to take the each-way odds available.

Race 5. (17:25) Tobin Bros Celebrates Lives BM64 (2400m)

#5 – Mr I’m a Believer @ $2.50

Mr I’m a Believer has a made a good start to his career with a win and two second placings.

The four-year-old son of Make Believe wasn’t far behind the winner at The Valley last start and a repeat of that effort would be good enough.

The Moody stable is running well and he could add to their success.

Race 6. (18:00) Senet Gambling Law Experts BM64 (1200m)

#10 – Vientiane @ $7.50

Vientiane has yet to win from five starts this preparation, but she should appreciate the easier company.

The four-year-old daughter of Lonhro comes off a fifth at The Valley and she should find this opposition more to her liking.

Damien Oliver rides and punters get each-way odds.

Race 7. (18:30) Stow Storage Solutions BM70 (1400m)

#1 – Cap De Joie @ $2.70

Cap De Joie has been tough to beat through her career and she could kick off this preparation with a win.

The four-year-old daughter of Farhh won twice at Bendigo before placing at Sandown and Caulfield, so the form checks out.

She must carry a big weight here, but she shouldn’t have much problem with that, and punters have come for her in early markets.

Race 8. (19:00) Thoroughbred Club Australia BM64 (1600m)

#1 – Blakmax @ $8.50

Blakmax won at Sandown Hillside two starts back and racing at Lakeside shouldn’t be much of a problem.

The three-year-old colt is a two-time winner from eight starts and dropping from 1800m to 1600m should be right up his alley.

Getting 3kg off his back is a bonus and we’re happy with the value odds.
